Thanks for the suggestion. Parents will now receive notifications for booking request acceptance / rejection on the Xplor Home app. They will also receive notifications for holiday, absence and late notifications.

In-app notifications are included as part of the revamped Bookings feature on the Xplor Home app for parents.

In general, all booking updates should notify all parties affected by said updates.
If there is a mobile booking made, office should be auto-notified, as this affects rostering.
If office approves/denies a booking request, parents should be auto-notified. So should the affected room, as this affects their planning.
If there is a late pickup notification, it's not enough that the office is notified, the affected room should also be auto-notified.

I didn't realize this was the case, I thought it would automatically send an update to the parent. I feel as though it would be common sense for this to be made part of the system. It would save going back and forth.

yes this would save so much time writing admin posts to each family.
