Allowable Absent Days
OSHC
CCS Absences Exceeded - Hi Team, wanting to bump this up the list. Absence tracking was so easy in Qikkids as it was visible as a filter item in our children's list, and is now it is almost impossible to track. The current report available (CCS Entitlement Report - 8712) doesn't even give you the name of the child or the parent only a CCS Enrolment ID, which then requires further admin time to look up enrolment IDs under CCS enrolments. This is a fundamental requirement for all childcare providers to be able to view this information easily so families can be alerted. Some great suggestions below on how this could be improved. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Could we please have access to a report that shows allowable absences? and perhaps be notified when families are reaching 30 absences?

Notification Bell if Family Exceeds allowable absences

Notification Bell if Family Exceeds their allowable absences in the same way that we are notified when a family's ccs entitlement changes. This will be helpful for office so that services can notify families that full fees will apply for any future absences within the financial year

Yes and have it automatically trigger the 'tag'on the parent accounts screen too. Also send an automated email to families

This would be so so helpful! Monitoring it with our own spreadsheet is very time consuming, we had to monitor some families from October. Its on the statement but the parents don't monitor it, they don't even understand the rule half the time.

If we could be notified through the orange bell when a family exceeds their allowable absences in the same way that we are notified when a ccs entitlement changes

Brilliant idea. Why didn’t I think of this. There have been delays of weeks before I pick up that the account is higher than normal then working out why. By this stage exceeding 42 days has already affected the family or about to. In some cases the parent is not able to back date a sick certificate as they were unaware. Note- it is in our service notes in every statement to explain the 42 day rule.
