An editing feature for incident reports prior to parent/guardian sign-off would be highly beneficial. On occasion, minor errors such as misspellings of a child’s name or incorrect details regarding the nominated contact person have occurred. Currently, these inaccuracies cannot be amended once the report is created, resulting in the need to generate a new incident report to ensure all information is accurate. Providing the ability to make edits before finalisation would improve efficiency and reduce duplication of work.
