Incorrect CCS estimates

Something needs to be done about the CCS estimates. Every week when the system calculates our family payments, when the actual CCS updates on a Monday the payments are out and I need to manually adjust every one of the scheduled payments as it's not done automatically because the payment increases. I know sometimes there is a difference of a few cents to a couple of dollars due to rounding but we consistently have families balance differ by over $10 and sometimes as much as $30-$40. This cannot be due to rounding and cannot be a family Centrelink issue as it happens with almost all of our families. Last week I worked out the CCS estimate myself and the system clearly had it wrong so calculate the weekly payment as the wrong amount.

Same here. Every week, I am adjusting the amounts by a few cents or dollars because my OCD wants to see a zero balance once payment is done. It is annoying that it is always off.

I've found that the system doesn't seem to accommodate for the CCS hourly rate cap in it's estimate which seems to be the biggest reason I've found for difference between estimates and actual CCS

Tamara Anderson This is what they ended up telling me the issue was. Apparently it doesn't take it into account for OSHC so even though we have 'CCS estimatation' ticked on the profile it doesn't work. It was suggested that I could untick that option, the account would should full fees but then correct when the CCS applied. I don't like that option either in case there is a glitch in the system when CCS applies and the scheduled payment doesn't adjust from full fees.

Fully agreed, I have the same issue as well and have brought this to Xplor but nothing has changed since then, it can be time consuming to do that with our busy schedule
