Payments Inactive Child Profile

I have been informed by support that children must remain active for Debit Success to continue to take payments. There are a couple of reasons why this should not be the case but the priority one for me is that if a child does not have a current completed enrolment form they should not be active. If there is still an amount owing then payments should continue.

yes i agree, we have noticed parents loisng their CCS for their absences at end of enrolment but find it late, and then is awkawrd having to chase up the parent. Also, we suspend accoutnts when doing debt recovery and parents want to set up a direct debit to pay this off, however by making their child active, they can book their child in via the app again, which we do not want. I think if any money is owing, the direct debit should still be able to take payments, despite the status of the child.

I agree, especially co spidering there is no report for children that end Care on an absence, so if they are made inactive and have ended Care on an absence, 14 weeks later CCS is reclaimed by Centrelink and leaves a debt

i agree we have also noted that children automatically become inactive once the end date has been completed, can it not be that they are made inactive one the care has finished and no monies are owing???
