Removing Email from authorised collectors

Hi, when adding in an authorised collector to a child's account, we are finding that the parents often don't know the collector's email address, and sometimes the grandparent etc won't have an email address to use. We are unable to complete adding the person's details in without this email address, and are having to put a note in confidential notes listing the authorised collector's details, less the email address. Is there a way to add a collector to a child's account without having to provide the email address as sometimes it can't be obtained.

Why they changed this I really don’t know. It worked fine without it in the past

Definitely mobile number should be enough and they receive a text to set up username and password.

I Agree, we have the same issue.

A mobile number is all that should be required. We are having the same issues as many grandparents do collect from time to time

Making the mobile number the main option for authorised collectors would be ideal

100%!!! Option email would be good. I have hundreds of authorised contacts with fake email addresses (e.g. noemail3285749285@yarracity.vic.gov.au) JUST so the person is authorised to collect the relevant child. If collectors would like to use the Hub to sign the children in/out, this can be option. A lot of the authorised collectors at our centre don't have this kind of IT literacy (i.e. elderly people with English as a second language, or no English at all).
