We had an occurrence where a person came to collect a child but was not listed on the original Enrolment form as a “Collect” (but was added later by the parent). The casual educator was unable to access Playground App at the time so went to the paper-based enrolment form where the contact was not listed. Educator then had to ring parent to confirm Grandma (who had picked up on numerous occasions but was unknown to the casual educator). In our software for FDC, if any changes are made by parent through the Parent Portal, our service will receive a notification email where we can approve it before software is updated. We can then ensure that the paper file is updated too.

100% agree. We are missing contacts that are added by parents and it looks very unprofessional
