Xplor Feature Requests

It would great if staff could run the parent/child details report and for it to include any court/parenting orders for children at the service. Currently staff are only aware of a court order if they go into each child's profiles and look at their attachments for a court order. If the child could then also have a symbol next to their name on the roll, similar to the dietary and medical symbols, that would assist staff in keeping those children safe.

To make a function similar to the comms centre where management can bulk message

The rostering system is quite difficult and time-consuming to use. Managing the roster requires shifts to be edited individually, which makes even small changes very inefficient. It would make a significant difference if we could edit or delete multiple shifts at once, particularly when adjusting rosters across the week. It would also be really helpful to have the roster displayed in a more user-friendly and accessible format sent directly to educators, either through a clearer view when it’s shared with them or a finalised version available on Playground Web that staff can easily refer back to. I have been using Xplor across multiple services for over five years, and this has consistently been a challenge. Improving this functionality would greatly support efficiency and reduce admin time for services.

can we please have more fields added in the visitor log eg: Children's check card or state specific acronym, email, DOB, address, this will help assist with uploading the information into the new Workers Register as you can export the data.

It would be very useful to be able to print a list of the children on a particular day and group. For example: the prep children in after school care on Monday.

Can emails that are sent out from the Comms Post option please be sent by the Centre and not Xplor (parents are less likely to read emails that don't have our centre name)

The difficulty with families who are already registered at other centres makes keeping waiting lists tricky. Most people want to place their name on several centres lists and when an email address is already noted elsewhere it makes communication very tricky.

When sending bulk or individual Statements to families, can we please have the option of added a text body to the email? This would make for a more instructional email to families so they know what they need to do with the statement. Thanks!

Can we add an educator's tab to the comms centre please as when sending out information via posts it would be great to include the educators, so they know what is happening.
